Legislative Proposal On Courts Fails

As we expected, the attempt to establish a legislative restraint on the court has failed.

Says the KC Star:

On a 66-58 vote, the House killed a proposed constitutional amendment to block the judiciary from interfering with the power of the purse. The vote was 18 votes shy of the two-thirds majority required for constitutional amendments.
